Arizona to North Carolina

Let’s go!

I just returned from an amazing three-week vacation filled with adventure, connection, and celebration. I spent the first two weeks in beautiful Arizona with my family, soaking up the sun, exploring stunning desert landscapes, and enjoying quality time together. For the final week, I traveled to North Carolina to visit my friend Sharon, where we kicked things off with a fun and festive Easter beer hunt—a playful twist on tradition! The week wrapped up with an inspiring women’s conference that left me feeling empowered and refreshed. It was the perfect blend of relaxation, friendship, and personal growth.

My trip started out with a great evening out with my dad, stepmom, sister, and her boyfriend. We kicked things off with a couple rounds of high-tech putt putt—complete with glowing lights, cool effects, and a little friendly competition. Afterward, we grabbed dinner together, shared some laughs, and caught up over good food.

When I left snowy Denver, it felt so good to trade the cold for sunshine and warm weather. Later that week, my sister and I got matching tattoos of our passport stamps from our Germany trip last December—a perfect little reminder of our adventure. We wrapped up the day with a relaxing sunset boat ride and a charcuterie board, soaking in the views and good vibes. The remainder of my time in Arizona was just hanging out with my dad and relaxing.

I arrived in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, to visit my friend Sharon and help her get ready for her 6th Annual Easter Beer Hunt! We spent the day setting up and cooking, getting everything prepped for the big event. Instead of eggs, we hid beer, hard cider, and little bottles of liquor all around the yard—it was such a fun and festive twist on tradition. We had really great food and some interesting easter conversations.

The next day, we headed out to Hanging Rock for a scenic hike with two waterfalls. Later, we took a stroll through Reynolda Village and spent some time exploring the peaceful botanical gardens with tasty crepes for lunch.

On the last day of my trip Sharon and I went to the 2025 REACH Womans Conference. The REACH Women's Conference inspires working women to REACH UP in their careers, REACH OVER to each other, and REACH BACK to champion the next generation of women in the workplace. Afterward, we went out for a couple of drinks at this super neat bar. Had personalized drinks made for us by this adorable bartender. All in all these three weeks were a nice getaway from the normalcy of every day.
